According to source, the Camaro will be available in LS, LT and SS trims but there might be a fourth trim i.e. the RS model as can be seen from the images.The engine that powered the Chevy Camaro will be a fuel efficient 296 bhp (220 kW) 3.6-liter engine and a 416 bhp (310 kW) 6.2-liter V8 engine mated to a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmissions. The engines could run on fewer cylinders to improve fuel economy.
The car features an all-independent suspension system and a StabiliTrak stability control system while the weight of the 1,700 kg coupe is split 52 % up front and 48 % at the rear. A set of 4 pot Brembo brakes is fitted for the SS trim.
For the interior, the Camaro features with leather seats for the posher models, LED lighting, and dials and gauges inspired by 1969 Camaros. The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro will be available in the US in early 2009.
