G-POWER X5 M and X6 M TYPHOON with 600hp

G-POWER's a well known BMW has released performance and equipment package for the new BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M. The aerodynamic kit is largely derived from the G-POWER Widebody-Kit TYPHOON.

Both SUVs feature a full carbon fibre front skirt with striking air inlets, a bonnet made of Kevlar hybrid or carbon fibre, and wide carbon fibre side skirts. A rear diffuser compliments the bragging four tailpipes. G-POWER says they emit a powerful deeptone sound. The X5 M is fitted with one-piece aluminium wheels measuring 11x23 and 12x23 inches while the X6 M's three-piece versions also have the same dimensions. Additionally the X6 M can be had with 22-inch wheels. Tyres are 315/25 ZR 23 high performance Michelins. The suspension systems can be lowered by 30mm.

The twin turbo engines were boosted from 408kW (550hp) to 441kW (600hp) at 6,000rpm and peak torque is 700Nm at 2,000rpm. Acceleration from 0 - 100km/h (62mph) happens in 4.5 seconds, 0 - 200km/h (124.2mph) in 16.2 seconds and top speed is beyond 300km/h (186.4mph).

Interior enhancements include a sports steering wheel, a G-POWER design speedometer, carbon fibre inserts and more.

Lumma Design + G-Power BMW 5 series CLS 730 RS

Lumma Design, a well known German tuner has released a new performance tuning package for the BMW M5 E60. Winterlingen-based Lumma Design has been working with the engineers at G-Power on an upgrade kit to the M-badged version of the 5-series.

The result is a car that uses all 730 horsepower of a bi-compressor V10 to reach a maximum speed of over 367 km/h (228 mph). The 700 Nm of torque helps the car go 0-100 km/h time in 4.2 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in just ten seconds. 300 km/h is achieved in 29.5 seconds.

The companies claim this is the "most powerful engine" ever seen on a "road-legal BMW." It is certainly a huge development over Lumma's CLR 500 RS released in 2007. That car saw a "paltry" 560 horsepower.

Certainly, these figures require non-stock brakes. Lumma Design's own six-piston front, four-piston rear caliper brakes are used along with drilled 405mm discs. Ultralight, three-piece forged 10x21 and 12Jx21 wheels at the nose and tail look great on the 45mm lowered car.

The design package includes carbon fiber boot and bonnet, and the material is also used for the door handles, entrance sills, fenders, and mirror caps. Designers also replaced the exhaust system. Inside, carbon fiber, leather, and suede is used gratuitously. Hopefully, the color scheme chosen inside is customizable, as something more subtle than the contrasting red, white, dark grey would probably feel more appropriate.

G-POWER X5 Typhoon RS

G-Power has released the all new X5 Typhoon RS which able to produce 460kW (625hp) and maximum torque of 700Nm from a completely re-engineered 4.8-litre V8.

The engine has been force-fed using the G-POWER SK III RS supercharger. The boost pressure is 1.0 bar. The core of the supercharger is the ASA supercharger system which is also used in the Alpina B5S, B6S and B7 models, as well as the B6 GT3 racer. It makes the X5 go from 0 - 100km/h in 4.5 seconds, 0 - 200km/h (124mph) in 16 seconds to eventually reach a top speed of 285km/h (177mph). Gears are selected using a 6-speed automatic transmission while grip and go come from the xDrive AWD system.

Kit used includes a steel high-performance exhaust system, racing catalysts and rear mufflers, and a large-volume aluminium charge air cooling system at the front.

Inside G-POWER fitted accessories like a TYPHOON design speedometer, a sports steering wheel and aluminium bits. Customers can pretty much spec the car do their own personal desires. Each X5 G-POWER TYPHOON RS can be ordered directly or can be created from an existing customer X5 (E70).

G-POWER supercharger for BMW M3 Coupe Tornado

G-Power has released the all new upgrade for the M3 Coupe Tornado. The most significant change concerns the addition of tailor-made 'light' supercharger from ASA with a moderate 0,3 bar boost. Along with a new intercooler and a performance exhaust system, the 4.0-liter V8's output increases from 420HP and 400Nm to 500HP and 480Nm (354-lbs/ft). G-Power says that the supercharged M3 Coupe with the 6-speed manual gearbox can accelerate from standstill to 200km/h (124mph) in just 13.5 seconds compared to the standard M3's time of 15.8 seconds. Customers can opt for the removal of the electronic speed limiter, in which case the M3 Coupe Tornado can reach a top speed in excess of 320km/h or +199mph..

The M3 Coupe Tornado also comes with a height-adjustable coil-over suspension with nine selectable settings each for bound and rebound while the car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport tires -255/30 ZR20 in front, 295/25 ZR20 in the rear- mounted on lightweight 20-inch Silverstone alloy wheels. The kit is complemented by a new four-pipe muffler made from stainless steel or optionally, from titanium which is 14,5kg or 32-lbs lighter than the factory part.

However, the M3 Coupe Tornado does not feature any exterior upgrades other than the rims. For the interior, G-Power has upgrade the interior with the interior with carbon-fiber trim, a new speedometer with the G-Power logo, an aluminum pedal set and optionally, a special leather treatment.
