Tried & Tested: Mercedes-Benz E200 CGI (W212)
Click on all images to enlargeHow often have you noticed a burnt-out third brake light of the car in front of you? Or a pair or even all brake lights not functioning at all? More often than can be imagined right? Mercedes-Benz E200 CGI in Malaysian showrooms now!
Barely a couple of months after the E300 debut representing the saloon form of the all-new E-Class in Malaysia, the bread-&-butter E200 CGI has quietly crept into M-B showrooms locally.Priced at a more realistic - but no less lofty - RM366,888 this is the E-Class that's set to push the bulk of the W212s to be sold officially (and not-so-officially a few years down the road). Not some fancy

A pictorial history of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class by the top-guns of M-B Malaysia (MBM)
Though not truly a big fan of the top-brass guys (and gals) at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) and especially the way they mistreat customers and potential customers alike (some Merc dealers too, as rumoured), I must admit the 3-D holographic-esque presentation at the launch of the new W212 E-Class was really something to be savoured as unique and classy among the many car launches we get annually

Wald SPORTS LINE Mercedes Benz W212 E-Class
Wald International from Japan, a tuner specializing in premium European and Japanese marques, recently debuted their styling kit for the Mercedes E-Class W212 at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, and have now sent us a full set of beauty shots.Falling under Wald's SPORTS LINE Black Bison Edition range, the styling components consist of a front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper fascia with integrated diffuser, trunk spoiler, roof spoiler, sports fender ducts and exhaust system. Wheels are Wald's own Mahora series which are available in several different finishes in 19-, 20- and 21-inch. As seen in previous SPORTS LINE Black Bison Editions, the louvred design elements seen on the sides of the front and rear bumper fascias and side skirts seem to be a hallmark trait. Other standout characteristics include the double foglamps and the stacked oval tailpipes reminiscent of the Lexus IS-F.

Spied: Mercedes-Benz W212 E-Class
By Dr Long The successor to the current W211 E-Class isn't expected to make its official public appearance until the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Codenamed unsurprisingly - in an ascending numerical tag - as W212, right hand drive units are predicted to roll off production line only by early 2010.
