Lorinser Mercedes C-Class Based LV8 to Compete at Tuner Grand Prix

Lorinser a well known Mercedes-Benz tuner has announced that it will participate in the 2009 Tuner Gran Prix that takes place in Hockenheim in Germany from June 26 to 27, with a specially modified Mercedes-Benz C-Class dubbed LV8. The tuner did not release any details on the car -though we're suspecting that the LV8 means it will be equipped with a V8 engine- but the firm's managing director stated that aside from the special tires, the LV8 will be totally street legal and that it will be offered for sale by Lorinser at a later date.

Mercedes S-Class Styling kit from Kahn and Lorinser

Kahn and Lorinser are working together to produce an all new styling kit for Mercedes S Class. The first thing that we get from the kit is a set of Kahn wheels. Specifically, Kahn RSL 9 X 21 matte black in the front and 10.5 X 21 at the rear. Project Kahn also provides some interior design on this Mercedes S Class, with a full bespoke leather package and other unspecified cabin detailing. For the rest of the styling kit, Lorinser added body paneling, which from the photos we can see are side air vents and subtle new skirting all around that give the design a softer, more grounded look.

"This project is without a doubt the perfect blend of British and German styling and it will certainly ensure a great deal of customer satisfaction," says Marcus Lorinser, head of German tuner Lorinser, who has partnered with Project Kahn on this Mercedes S Class.
