RDSport RS35 Biturbo Based on E92 BMW 335i

RDSport or know as Racing Dynamics, is taking the competition to other BMW tuners by announcing the arrival of the 335i Coupe based RS35 Biturbo. Upgrades have been made to extract more performance out of a car widely acknowledged as one of the leaders in its class.

The engine is improved by modifying some electronic components for the purpose of improving boost, and optimising fuel and timing. Besides that, a larger intercooler and free-flowing intake were installed to increase air supply.

With all the upgrade, the power boost from stock 302bhp (225kW) and 295 lb-ft (400Nm) to the RDSport-certified 414bhp (309kW) and maximum torque of 404 lb-ft (548Nm). So it matches the M3 on power but trumps it on torque. The Italian based tuner also got the RS35 homologised by the TUV in Germany.

For the exterior, a carbon fiber front bumper with bigger air intakes and carbon housing for the fog lights. There are also deeper side skirts, a different rear apron, quad tailpipes and a rear roof spoiler. The car rides on larger 20-inch wheels while at the same time sitting 25mm lower at the front and 20mm lower at the rear.

The interior is littered with RDSport logos as well as aluminium inserts on pieces like the hand brake and pedals.

BMW Performance Power Kit for 135i and 335i

Recently, BMW has announced that it will unveil the BMW Performance Power Kit for the 3.0-liter straight-six with Twin Turbo Technology and High Precision Injection engine for the BMW 135i Coupe, the BMW 135i Convertible, the BMW 335i Saloon, the BMW 335i Touring, the BMW 335i Coupe, and the BMW 335i Convertible.

With the Performance Power Kit, it increases the standard engine output by 20 hp (15 kW) from 306 hp (225 kW) to 326 hp (240 kW) and a new maximum torque figure of 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) for the automatic transmission and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) fro the manual transmission from the standard 400 Nm (295 lb-ft).

The BMW Performance Power Kit includes of a modified engine management unit, an additional radiator outside of the engine, appropriate air flow ducts and a high-performance fan on the main radiator. Besides that, the Power Kit may also be combined with BMW’s seven-speed automatic sports transmission complete with double-clutch operation for the BMW 335i Coupe and the BMW 335i Convertible.

With the BMW Performance Power Kit, the acceleration power from 0 to 100km/h of the cars increase 0.2 seconds more compare to standard which is 5.4 seconds.
