They say it’s a car for enthusiasts who are looking for an exhilarating driving experience, with refined driveability for real-world road conditions. This package is honestly oneof the coolest Mustang we’ve seen for this car,Saleen has took a more elegant approach designing this car than tuners usually do. 2009 Saleen Dark Horse Mustang

The 2009 Dark Horse Mustang over here is the first assembly line and is the only one built so far. To their credit, Saleen did take us out to Willow Springs Raceway outside of Los Angeles for some flying laps, so we were able to experience the full capabilities of the car's performance. Following are awesome images for the Saleen Mustang. Enjoy.

Saleen Racecraft reveals Ford Focus-based RC2 Concept

Dubbed the RC2 Concept, Saleen had created new body kit and performance upgrades for the standard Focus RC2 concept to make it a much sportier look and feel. For the body kit, it is a custom front fascia, a mesh grille, aggressive side skirts and a small rear spoiler for added stability. And for the suspension package, it is updated with a set of stiffer springs and larger sway bars.

A dual-tipped exhaust and cold air intake is to improve the power of the stock four cylinder Duratech engine. The engine power is likely up around 15hp (11kW) over the standard 143hp (106kW) 2.0L engine.

According to Saleen the car is designed to be sold as a ’starting point’ for tuners to build on, which is why the performance mods have been kept to a minimum. Another Saleen division, SpeedLab, is already working on a new range of performance parts for the Focus as well as a number of other Ford models including the Edge SUV and Fusion sedan.

Saleen S5S Raptor

Saleen is considering to build the 650hp, V8 hyper car, Saleen S5S Raptor. This could mean that a production version is on the way and that it would take all of six months to have a prototype in testing. The major hurdle Saleen has to overcome is finding a suitable production partner, but if that wrinkle is ironed out and they decide to build the Raptor, Saleen's halo car might be spied in prototype form next year.
