Mazda MX-5 / Miata new photo gallery

Mazda has unveiled their MX-5/Miata during the Paris Motor Show and now the car has finally reached the firm's Japanese dealerships. The open-top sportscar is priced in its domestic market from 2,330,000 to 2,600,000 yen ($25,100 - $28,000) for the soft top models, and from 2,680,000 to 2,950,000 yen ($28,900 - $31,800) for the Power Retractable Hard Top (RHT). The car is powered by a 2.0L 4 cylinder engine with 5 speeds or 6 speed transmission. For hardtop model, a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Mazda MX-5 / Miata Facelift

Mazda has also registered at OHIM a set of phantom images of what appears to be a facelift version of the Miata / MX-5 roadster. The MX-5 will get a new front end with a larger grille, new fog light housings and restyled head lamps.
