TVR Cerbera Speed 12.pic

The TVR Cerbera Speed 12 is a high performance concept car designed by TVR in 1997. It was intended to be both the highest performance road car, and also be the basis for an endurance racer. Though it was abandoned and never actually produced, it's still worth mentioning because of its extreme power.

The engine displaced 7.7 liters and was reportedly capable of 800 horsepower. Though it was never offically measured, the car was said to be able to hit 60 mph in the low 3 second range, and its top speed comparable to a Mclaren F1

Several people put deposits on this car planning to own one, but when things fell through, the deposits were returned. There eventually was one sold, though it was not for many years later and it wasn't of the production models, it was actually a mixture of a production prototype and a racing version of the car. It was sold to a buyer that was personally hand picked by the owner of the company certified to be a TVR enthusie
